In a rather odd announcement of collaboration, Miley Cyrus has paired up with BCBG designer Max Azria to create a line that will sell in the juniors section of Walmart. Miley has long been a fan of Azria's designs (see below), or at least, her stylist has been. On her European promotional tour for Hannah Montana: The Movie, Miley glittered in the silvery Azria collection below. While Miley's style isn't revered by fashionistas, her very being is coveted by her legions of young fans. This is a designer collaboration that might not make sense to the fashion community, but is definitely understandable in terms of the millions Miley and Azria stand to make. A financially sound decision, and a great one on the part of Miley's PR people - many of her young fans can't afford the designer duds Miley herself dons. This will give them an opportunity to dress like their favorite star without plunking down the big bucks. Good move, Miley!
