I die for these fringed moccasin heeled booties. I really, really do. Sure, I die for the entirety of Christopher Decarnin's Spring 2009 collection for Balmain, but these Giuseppe Zanotti boots really take the cake. They're everything I like about life : heels, black, fringe. They're funky without trying too hard. Seriously, I want these almost badly enough to sacrifice an entire month of rent for them.
Almost is the key word. Because at $1025 a pop at Net-a-Porter, there ain't no way these pretty little babies will be making their way to my doorstep any time soon. Sadness.
Thank you, Jeffrey Campbell, king of sexy shoes that sometimes take the form of knockoffs. I don't know where I'd be without you. The JC version is on sale at Bluefly for $120. Still pricey, but definitely more reasonable than the Balmain alternative. And really, from afar, they don't look all that different!
