Budget Shopping

by Sigrid 12. July 2011 08:48

Are you looking to shop online at real discount prices? There are certain places you can go to and you do not have to worry about the quality of the items they sell either because these shops offer only high quality items.

If you are shopping for clothes, these are the places you should go to:

The first one on the list is Bluefly. This is a premier website that sells designer labels at real affordable prices –usually at 25 to 75% off. The shipping fees for Bluefly are reasonable and their catalogs are customized too.

Another wonderful online shop to go to is Chadwicks of Boston. They have an off price catalog that offers women’s clothes as well as apparel for men at 50%.

For those who want to shop for the whole family, you can always go to Designer Outlet and get items from brands such as Bisou-Bisou and Cynthia Rowley.

Discount Designer Menswear Inc. is also a wonderful place to go to if you would like to do some shopping. This is a menswear website though so do not go there unless you are looking for great finds for your man.

Other places one can go to is Overstock.com, the Ultimate Outlet and Veniza.com.

For those looking for handbags or any type of bag, you should take a look at this list:

Handbag Heaven is definitely a wonderful stop for those who want real affordable yet sturdy and trendy bags. Handbags in this place cost as little as $10. All bags are under $85 which means you would save a lot of money if you shopped for bags here.

eBags.com is also a good choice especially if you are planning on buying different types of bags. Whether you are looking for a bag for your laptop or a backpack for the kids, you can find it at eBags.com.

Where And How To Buy Cheap Dresses

by Sigrid 28. June 2011 17:32

Are you looking for cheap dresses for sale? There are many cheap dresses online that are sold by resellers and those who are cleaning up their closets. These resellers often get these cheap dresses at real low prices that is why they are able to sell them at more affordable rates.

If you want to buy cheap dresses, you can always take a look at wholesalers’ websites and see if you want to buy certain types of dresses by the bulk. The bad thing about this however is sometimes, wholesalers require you to buy a certain number of cheap dresses that are of the same style –this is definitely a no, no because what is the point of buying dresses if they are of the same style? If they come in different colors however, it can work. Be discerning when it comes to buying dresses online especially those on wholesale. You should make sure that these clothes do not have factory defects. There is no use if you buy them at a rather cheap price and still need to fix them right?

If you are into high end brands but do not have the budget to buy yourself a dress made by a respectable designer, you can look at shops that sell slashed label items or items whose labels are cut out. Most of the time when designer brands are on sale, they cut out the labels to make sure that people do not go back and return the items and get the money at full price. Dresses with cut labels are not secondhand dresses –they are new and were just sold on sale. You can buy these dresses at a fraction of their original price by visiting their stores or visiting their websites. These won’t be exactly cheap but they are good quality items so they are definitely worth it.

Budget Fashion This Summer

by Sigrid 27. June 2011 02:31

Summer is officially here and all the ladies are now shopping for beachwear. There is no need for you to break the bank though because there are cheap summer dresses and beachwear being sold online.

The first place you can go to is eBay.com but you would have to bid and sometimes other buys are quite competitive when it comes to great finds. The prices of the items in this online auction are just a small fraction of the regular price, so why not give it a try?

Amazon is also a good place to shop and there are budget sundresses you can find that are as good as those released by high end brands.

Loft.com is also a wonderful place to shop. They offer great deals daily.

Aside from these shops, you can also go to O.com also known as Overstock.com and see what they have on offer. Another trick is to key in your favorite brand on your search engine and add the words “discount” or “cheap”. By doing this you will be able to see different offers from resellers who sell branded items at real affordable prices.

Many brick and mortar shops go on a summer sale so keep an eye out for those. If you are fond of window shopping, you may go to your nearest mall and see which shop will be going on sale soon. This will save you lots of money because some shops often give 50% to 70% discounts.

To ensure that you are updated regarding shops going on sale, you can also visit the official website of your favorite shop and sign up for their newsletter. By doing this, you will know about their activities ahead of time and before other shopaholics like you learn about them. Signing up for a newsletter may also avail you of discounts.

Mother's Day Already?!

by Prachi 29. April 2010 04:17

In the midst of the hectic chaos I call "life" I had a mini epiphany last night that shocked me: Its already the end of April and May is around the corner, meaning->

1. Its almost Mother's Day! (Sunday May 9th)
2. Wedding season is in full throttle and
3. Summer is here! Beach weather!

I honestly feel like Easter weekend was just a few days ago, not weeks. Time just passes by too quickly!

After my realization I went into a small frenzy to find the perfect gift for my mom. She can be picky and already has most of everything she wants. Plus at my age flowers don't exactly suffice unless I get those huge $85-$100+ bouquets. I love my mom but I'm strapped for cash!

She's a huge jewelry fanatic- she's the source of my fashion sense and love of jewelry, well some of it at least. So in honor of our shared love of jewelry I'm going to get her a cubic zirconia ring, once I can decide which one. She doesn't come online often so I'm not worried about divulging too much information. I'm going to pick between these three:

These cubic zirconia (or CZ) rings are fabulous (I'm tempted to get one for myself too!) and not expensive at all. They'll last her (and me) years! Beats buying flowers or chocolates that last a week, maybe. Gotta' love cubic zirconia, you get the look and shine of a diamond for less than half the price!

While on the topic, does everyone else know what they are doing or getting for Mom? If you're still looking, maybe this collection of CZ jewelry will help get the gift juices flowing. The jewelry is by Zulu Moon and they have an online coupon till May 1st (listed below)! I'll be taking full advantage of that! With their huge selection, you'll find plenty of things to Mom's liking.

Rachel Roy hits Macy's

by Sarah 11. August 2009 03:05

Designer collaborations are all over the place these days - we've got Anna Sheffield's Bing Bang line for Target hitting stores for the holidays, and it was recently announced that Target has also snagged Rodarte. Le sigh, that one will be perfection. In the meantime, we can ooh and ahh over Rachel Roy's line for Macy's. True to form, Rachel produced funky, functional and chic clothes for the working girl. The diffusion line was originally scheduled to debut August 1st, but instead it hit stores this week.

Check out some looks in the shot below, and visit your local Macy's to snatch the pieces up in person!

Target's next great designer collaboration: Carlos Falchi!

by Sarah 29. May 2009 04:33

You've probably seen Carlos Falchi's snakeskin bags.

His fan base has run the gamut from Jackie O to Tina Turner to Sienna Miller.

He also used to create stage outfits for Mick Jagger and Elvis Presley.

Falchi is definitely not a new name on the scene -he’s been making bags for about 30 years.

His collections are luxurious, colorful, and GORGEOUS. And now, they'll be available to you for cheap.

The collection, which will be comprised of 13 pieces, hits stores and Target online on October 11th.

I'm excited. Are you?

Fashionable Swimwear on the Cheap!

by Sarah 25. May 2009 05:50

God, I LOVE Forever21. I wonder at what age I'll grow out of my adoration for the fast fashion chain. I can't imagine a world in which I didn't stop into to F21 for cheap fashionable basics.

For instance, check out the swimsuits below. They're all priced around $13. Where else could you get a swimsuit for $13? Nowhere! Perhaps Old Navy, but those are often a big fugly, no? These babies are F-A-B fabulous! That cutout black one piece reminds me of the bathing suit Audrina wore on The Hills (the episode where she and Lauren followed the "boys weekend" to Hawaii). And I'm loving the bright colorful bikinis! Not to mention, that white triangle two piece is very Lohan.

Check out the steals below and more at Forever21.com.

Forever21 reveals the Love21 Lookbook

by Sarah 18. May 2009 09:17

As I told you, Forever21 will soon debut a new, higher quality (but still low priced) line, Love21. As of today, they posted a few shots of the new line in a lookbook on their website. I've already seen some of these pieces in person, and I can vouch for their higher quality - they're fantastic styles that don't look as trashy cheap as the original Forevs' stuff but are still affordable. What could be better? Check out a few pages of the lookbook below, and head to stores on May 19th when the line debuts!

Check it out: Hot Topic Clearance Section

by Sarah 15. May 2009 02:57

I know what you're thinking. HOT TOPIC? You've got to be kidding me! But no, my dear fashionistas, I kid you not. Just because the punk kids in high school adored Hot Topic doesn't mean there aren't deals to be had for you! I mean, try and tell me this tank, on sale for $7 (SEVEN DOLLARS!!!) isn't cute. I would love that with a bright cardigan (neon, perhaps) and black skinny jeans and a cute pair of sandals. If a tank isn't up your alley, peep this cute green scarf. It's on sale for $2.98. That deal CAN'T be beat. Ignore the terrible dye job of the model below and focus on how cute that scarf would be with a white sundress come summer.

Stop hating, and hit up that sale section. You can thank me later.
